The corporate groups EnBW, E.ON, RWE and Vattenfall keep on blocking the energy transformation. They file a suit against the closure of nuclear power plants in Germany and at the same time invest in the construction of more nuclear power plants in other countries. We are opposed to this and declare: Stop spending money on dangerous nuclear power plants, on uranium mining and even more nuclear waste! Everyone in Germany is free to support an independent green electricity supplier with his/ her monthly payment instead. Shut down nuclear power at home - now.
23 environmental associations have joined forces in order to show that we can make a difference: We call on every power customer in Germany to do the nuclear exit himself and to shut down the power connection to the big nuclear companies.

About us
Do the nuclear exit yourself! is an alliance of 23 German environmental organisations, citizens' anti-nuclear initiatives and organisations for the protection of consumers. We call on every private household and business in Germany to stop the payments to the 4 big energy providers and their subsidiaries that run nuclear power plants.
Encouraged by Do the nuclear exit yourself!, hundreds of thousands of electricity consumers have switched to an independent, pure green electricity supplier since October 2006, when this campaign was first launched.
Apart from animating people to change their energy provider, we'd like to motivate anti-nuclear power activists to get involved themselves: For those who already receive green energy, we offer free leaflets, posters and further material for taking action and convincing others – your friends and neighbours, colleagues and teammates…
